Susan Cato

Susan Cato lives in Fairfax County Virginia, about 15 miles south of  Washington, DC. When not working at her ‘day job’ as a Web and New Media strategist, she is usually having adventures with her family. When not occupied with either of those things, you won’t find her because she is probably hiking somewhere in the wilderness on the Appalachian trail with her giant dog, Jasper (who is an Anatolian Shepherd).

Jennifer McDonald

Jennifer McDonald lives and gardens with her family in their home in downtown Charlottesville.  When not outside in her garden up to her knees in compost and mulch, Jen can be found in her favorite chair, with her nose in a book.  Or possibly out on one of her long walks around town.  Or maybe in a family peleton, as they bike to the farmers’ market every Saturday.  For more of Jen’s writing, check out her blogs www.jenontheedge.com and www.ecowomen.net.
